The paper comes off the unwind then is V folded over a turn bar so it is folded in half as it enters the embosser section forming the two required webs for interfolding. The tail edge is then slit and the web slit into three to then form 3 lanes of towels. This design is very efficient because it only utilizes a single web and there is no issue with alignment. However a second unwind can be placed in line, with the existing unwind turned to run parallel with the machine and two single webs brought in together.
